Encouraged by friends who’ve enjoyed the hospitality of this former cafe in E Ringwood, we went today to have morning coffee as we left Warburton, after a wonderful family weekend. It was delicious- scrumptious ginger fluff sponge and excellent coffee, and such friendly people running it. It deserves to be up there amongst the best in the area
This was our first time to Warburton. We stumbled on this cafe and it was a good find. The service was great, food was lovely and was very accommodating for my 6 year fussy eating habits. Well done on a great place to enjoy breakfast.
Beautiful food, and great coffee. The sun on the outside deck made for the best breakfast experience. The Smashed Avocado is amazing!
Fantastic food and service. We had the best BLTs and toasties we have had in years and the coffee was high Melbourne standard. Friendly owners and staff and the cafe is in one of the most beautiful areas within easy driving distance of the city. Highly recommended.
This place has quickly become a regular stop for me. The coffee is absolutely delicious smooth, rich, and consistently great. My kids can’t get enough of the brownies. They are a definite favourite in our house. On top of that, the owners are genuinely lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend popping in if you’re nearby!
Tried the smashed avocado toast—delicious. The tomatoes were nicely pan-cooked, served at just the right temperature, not too hot or cold. Generous amount of avocado and toppings, though it could’ve been spread across two slices of sourdough instead of one. $23 meal. I also appreciated that they don’t use those cheap, scammy takeaway cups—always a good sign. Had a spiced chai as well. I was given the option between natural and powdered, which I liked. Compared to nearby spots, this one had decent foam and a nice sprinkle on top. But the flavour was underwhelming—not much depth. I’d give it an average score. Might be worth a little more training on the chai prep. Outside area needs some more love design work, well done overall. Thank you.
Just 500mtr from the Brisbane Bridge and the busy main street in Warburton is Roxky's Kitchen, with great home made food and of course great coffee. Free parking is a huge bonus in Warburton. Have lunch and take a short walk behind the Valley Views Park along the Yarra River and see the small Redwood forest BIG TREES! , the small Rainbow Bird and the waterfall opposite the Redwood forest, or have a picnic. Just stunning.
